I dreamt.
I was in my backyard, straightening out my catio during the night. Two of my neighbors came over to see what was going on. They were white and in their thirties. We were having a conversation about cats when another neighbor, an African-American woman came by. She had three dogs who were in bad condition, she did not take care of them well. One dog was a Golden Retriever who had an ear missing, there were burn marks where the ear used to be. Another dog was a German Shepard with a missing eye, there were burn marks where the eye used to be. The last dog was a Yellow Labrador. Its urethra was hanging dangling down and was mangled.
The two white neighbors left because the lady that came was African-American. The Golden Retriever and German Shepard began to violently bite the Yellow Lab’s dangling urethra. The Yellow Lab yelped out in pain each time it happened. The lady did nothing to stop them.
I told her that she needs to take the yellow lab to an emergency veterinarian clinic because her dog is clearly in pain. She said that she doesn’t need to, the dog is perfectly fine and proceeded to pull open its urethra to show me. The dog started to scream and cry in pain. I yelled at the lady, “Fucking stop! Can’t you see the dog is in pain?! It’s crying out and needs to be seen by a vet right now!”
The lady angrily replied and said her dog is fine. She does not want to go to the vet. I became so angry that I had to use the bathroom. When I went to use the bathroom, there was diarrhea in my underwear. It was mostly composed of peas which was strange because I had not eaten peas in a long time. I ended up splattering all over the bathroom rugs. Apparently this was the third time this happened today. I began to clean up the mess on the bathroom rugs, it came out really easily.
I awoke.
