I entered hypnagogia.
I saw two spheres suspended in blackness. The spheres were connected together via two strings. They were three dimensional objects on a two dimensional plane. A three dimensional sound was generated whenever the spheres moved. The type of sound generated depended on the way the spheres and strings moved.
One type of sound generated when one sphere moved directly away from the other sphere and the other sphere did not move and the strings were stretched. A different sound was generated each time one of the spheres moved in one of the cardinal directions and the other sphere did not move and the strings remained slack. A different set of sounds were generated each time one of the spheres moved in one of the cardinal directions and the other sphere did not move and the strings were stretched. Even more sounds generated when both of the spheres moved in different directions and the strings stretched or remained slack.
I observed many different combinations of sounds and eventually recognized patterns. After a time, I realized these spheres were communicating something. I could not understand what they were saying because I could not decipher the language.
I slept.
