Bees -sent from my iPad

June 01, 2026, Snickerdoodle

(Dystopian Rock)

Bees.
I Watch bees circle around the catmint.
They circle clockwise.
All of them peacefully working

They crawl over a few flowers.
Collect pollen
and fly over to the next flower.

Why can’t humans be like that.

The bees work at different paces.
Some stay out longer
Some move slower than others,
some work counter-clockwise.
Some just sit on a flower for a while

At the end of the day,
they get work done.
It doesn’t matter how much they do.
Just the fact that they did something.

They don’t have to worry about taxes.
They don’t have to worry about rent.
They don’t have to worry.

One of the particles in my heart goes
“buzzz.”
It stings.

I can’t wait to be a bee again one day.
A pearl of awareness
Sleeping.
In a bee.

Imma bee:
continuing to work at my own pace because
THE WORLD WE CREATED IS AN AWFUL PLACE.
